This place is the best birria tacos I have eaten! I love their menu variety and their food is always fresh! The people here are so pleasant and always is happy to serve you. They really know how to put customer service in great words. Their cashier I think her name is Lucy is always smiling and always helpful she is the nicest lady I like to talk to. The guys that make these tacos or nachos or the birria have so much flavor! I’m telling you that you try one time you will get addicted.

Fabulous tacos and quality food! I suggest the Queso tacos but don’t forget the Consomè for dipping. This quaint little shop was very clean and welcoming. Was very pleased when my friends introduced me to this gem of a restaurant. Give them a try!!!

Called an order in for 8 queso tacos, 1 birria torta, and an order of chips and queso. Pick the food up get home and I was given 8 regular birria tacos (no queso) 1 torta with only birria on there, it had a soggy bun but the bun was also stale on the outside. I called about the tacos, the lady said she put the order in wrong but she only charged us for regular tacos not queso tacos. We tried to eat the regular tacos but they were super dry and tasteless. The torta wasn’t good either. I called to see if I could have a refund for the 6 tacos that were remaining if I brought them back. They kept putting me on hold and hung up on me twice. I wasn’t rude but they seemed annoyed that we didn’t like their food. We really did try to spice the tacos up ourselves but they just aren’t good. We will stick with Birriera La Plaza. We just wanted to try a new place. We have had their breakfast burritos at El Jefe, they are pretty good. Our order was over $50 so some sort of refund would have been nice. Or atleast better customer service instead of just hanging the phone up.

Absolutely love el jefe in fact we are quite regularly here The El pastor is my favorite, but enjoy the carnitas as well. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and the restaurant is always clean. The prices are fantastic. Highly recommend, and will definitely be back.

Great food and prices! Nice staff and very nice establishment. I’ve come twice now and every time it’s great. The California burrito is so good. The carne asada fries and nachos are really good too. They have taco Tuesday deals. This is a great addition to this area and we look forward to coming back.

DELICIOUS!! Really impressed with how flavorful the food was. Their consume was great and had plenty of meat and bigger then most places. My vampiro taco was crispy and not flappy. My food was not super greasy like some of the comments nor made me or my girlfriend or my toddlers sick. Will definitely be back for more especially because of the prices! Looks like Birrieria PDX has some competition!
