Absolutely overpriced disgusting food! I have never had such awful “Mexican” food in my entire 35 years of being alive! Can someone please please please explain why my birria burrito is 80% ONIONS and TORTILLA??!!! See photos for yourself!!! I thought I was tripping!! I literally thought all that white cannot be onion… It has to be rice or something but NOPE! IT’S ONION’S! The other 20% is 10% meat and 10% rice! I am super upset! I have never known anyone in my life who likes onions that much! And how many tortillas were used?? REALLY??!! What is this restaurants excuse for this????? WHERE IS THE MEAT???? They just thought no one would notice???? Will never order from this place EVER again! MIGHT as well called this an ONION BURRITO!! SMH

Finally! A place with Amazing Birria! I’ve tried so many other places, just for the birria and it’s been either too salty or to dry. This place got it right! I swung in here on a Monday morning for some brunch but I can only imagine how fun this place is on a Friday or Saturday night. Plenty of space, large bar, and an authentic Mexican vibe. Nice twist with the sushi on the menu. Never thought I’d be eating birria tacos with a side of pot stickers (which they call pork gyoza’s here) but the combination of flavors were surprisingly delicious! I think I found my new favorite Mexican spot in Tempe

First timer. I got the shrimp taco and the birria taco. These are large, standalone tacos that satisfy. I probably would have been fine with one and a side. (El Jefe also sells smaller street tacos.) They were dressed well and the sauces and salsas were excellent.

I stopped in for takeout during a weekday afternoon so very few people were there but plenty of staff that were polite from the start. I had the pollo and pastor street tacos, regular fries and a couple of sushi rolls, all of which were amazing. I’m fairly picky about sushi and would put them on the same level as sushi 101, and the prices are similar or a little less. The amount of fries I received could feed a small country and are the perfect mix of crispy and floppy. I look forward to coming back here when it’s busier to enjoy the cool spot they’ve got.

Overall, way overpriced. It is semi-good food and a large selection. But they aren’t good with updating media and menus. With my experience, I showed up to a investors event without knowing because they didn’t post anything about it. We only had one spot to eat, and was crowded by people who weren’t enjoying the food, just talking about the event. I would never go here again.

I had this place today for the first time for lunch. I had it delivered through doordash. The shrimp fajitas and rice was real tasty but the beans were not a favorite. The tortillas were pretty good also. I might be back to try their other menu items.
