This place is awesome. I had a friend take me here and initially I thought hmm a food court, but she swore by it and I wasn’t let down. Ricky the owner was great and suggested a few things. I opted for the barbecue sandwich which was amazing. It was moist and tender and tasty all around. The yucca was amazing too. Perfect combination of salty and crisp with a sauce that paired great. The soda he suggested was like a cup of iced bubble gum that made me feel like a kid at heart. So yeah it’s in a food court it raises the bar for the rest of the place. Plus when you’re done with your amazing meal you can always buy some roomier pants on the way out.

Don’t be fooled by this small restaurant being inside of a mall, this place is a must for everyone looking for that Latin food craving! After visiting this spot the food, the flavor and the service is a 10/10 and the service is also fast. If you haven’t tried the Jibarito which is the PuertoRican Hispanic pulled pork sandwich which come with Yuca fries and an amazing garlic dipping sauce is a must try and worth every cent as well as the empanadas! Will definitely return for more.

I just saw this place in Newport mall , so guess it opened at Newport mall recently. I only tried the chicken tacos and they were amazing, not too elaborate but the hot tortillas and flavorful chicken was great and appetizing. Appreciate the folks working here , they deliver to impress. Am no expert to aptly rate Latin American food but for my spice loving taste buds this place looks quite a refreshing treat in the gamut of food stalls in this Mall.

Simply, the most delicious food you can enjoy at the mall. I went yesterday, my husband got a Cuban sandwich. It was outstanding, so good, so juice, it changed my mind about eating at the mall. I highly recommend Jibarito. And the staff is super friendly. Go go go and have a delicious experience

Absolutely delicious. Not only phenomenal for a mall food court but phenomenal for anywhere. Grilled shrimp still has a nice char flavor, the tortillas differ from taco to taco and the yuca fries are addicting. Wish there was one in the city so I could go more often!!

Really like the new set of stores opening in Newport Mall’s food court. We tried the chicken tacos here, definitely way better than a lot of local JC places. This might just become our new go-to when we’re in for a movie or to shop.
