Would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Great food great service friendly fun staff. Decent prices fast service! It was busy and place was packed but they found an opening for our family of 6 quickly and took our order promptly and food was hot and tasted delicious. The waiter was very attentive and refilled our drinks and had our requests for extra sides quickly. Impressive for as busy as they were! The warm smiles and friendly service was comforting while on our family vacation.

We love our family at Vera Cruz in Cincinnati Ohio but were in the Taylor Mill area and stopped at El Jinete’s based on a reco from a friend. Good menu without being terribly overwhelming and really good food. I ordered the Plato Loco and my wife ordered pork Chili Verde and both dishes were very tasty. I’d definitely eat her again when I’m the area!

I haven’t had a dish here that I didn’t like. My favorite is the pork carnitas. The pork is tender and has crispy edges, it is absolutely delicious! My boyfriend likes the burrito barzon which is literally every meat they have wrapped in a burrito and topped with queso, chorizo and a slice of pineapple. The service here is very quick and friendly!

We really enjoyed the experience. The service was a little bit off the waiter didnt wait to hear my drink order but got my husband then just gave me a Coke i dont like coke but i let it go. But it got better before we left. The food on the other hand was great we eat at alot of Mexican restaurants but so far this one has the most amazing food. I got the rice and shrimp and scallops. The scallops were a little over cooked the the shrimp and rice was great. My husband got the carnitas which was full of flavor and tender with a little crisp on the outside. The guacamole was great as well, not overpowered with garlic or onion if your in the taylor mill area and in the mood for Mexican food definitely give them a try.
