We enjoyed our meal at El Kanelo Mexican Restaurant & Bar. I had the Enchiladas Mixtas, which consisted of four enchiladas: a beef enchilada, a chicken enchilada, a bean enchilada, and a cheese enchilada. The beef in the beef enchilada was delicious, while the chicken in the chicken enchilada had a delicious light spice to it. All this was served in tortillas that were made fresh in the restaurant. Plus the portions here are very generous. We would definitely come back here next time we are in the area.

Can we give 6 stars? Hubby had the fajitas locas and I had shrimp tacos. Food was incredible and our server Leyden was amazing. Seeing we were savvy Mexican food eaters, he brought out the HOT sauce and tomatillo sauce. Sooo good! Highly recommended!

What a great surprise in this town! Food was good and had great portions. I ordered more than I could eat 🙂 I ordered 3 Chile Rellanos and the lunch special. Food was hot and fresh and I couldn’t wait to take the first bite yikes! The chips are thick and not as salty as traditional taquerias which is a plus for me!! Definitely would come back again when I’m passing thru town. Fast and friendly service.

Coming from Tevas, I’m giving this restaurant a never again. I could see they were more famous for their drinks, but even the people with us who ordered frozen drinks got liquid drinks because they said the machine was broken. We hardly ever saw our waitor, and the floor was so slippery. I’m surprised I made it out safely without busting my bottom.
