When I tell you this place has the true definition of typical and delicious Mexican food! Believe me! Everything was delicious from the food to the drinks, the staff was great and parking was easy! We had oyster, friend calamari and molcajete, prepare to lick your fingers here because it was so so good! Only down part is how far it is, I drive to Aspen and that’s why I went but me living in east vail is a good 2 hours of a drive but it’s really worth it!

Stopped in here for lunch and left very satisfied! Friendly service, complimentary chips and salsa. Margaritas range from $8-$20. The latter being a jumbo sized! I opted for the cheaper one which was delicious. Vegetarian friendly, I got the veggie quesadilla and veggie taco salad. They have a vast menu that can accomdate any diet!

Best Mexican restaurant we have ever been to in the US. And we love Mexican food. House margaritas are so good. The hot pineapple is my favorite dish in the world. Creamy rich white sauce with seafood inside a sweet pineapple. YUM! Will always visit here whenever we are in town.

When I first moved to Willets Town Center, the first thing I noticed was the massive line waiting to dine at El Korita. People were eating on the patio laughing and talking. The stars came out and the conversations continued. What was so magical about this place?????

I frequent the Willits Town Center in Basalt, Colorado, but on July 4th, I visited El Korita for the very first time.

Food is better than the service. This is the 4th or 5th time they’ve messed up my to go order. No apology, no discount, no comp of that item….just rude behavior for no reason. To top it off, the manger on duty refused to do anything about it either. Can you not just apologize? The proof is on the receipt. Why are you treating loyal, local customers like this?

I have never felt more discriminated against, I am a single white female traveling through town on my way to work remotely near Rifle, CO. The place was busy for a Sunday evening. I asked for a quiet corner table, nobody was waiting to be seated. The manager (pictured), was very rude and spoke in Spanish to the person seating me and directed him to sit me at a table in the middle of the room, where I said I didn’t want to be. Surrounded by large groups. I politely asked for a different table and he was nervous to defy the manager. I said I don’t need to eat here if you sit me here. He moved me to a quiet table along the wall. She was not polite and seemed to judge me for being alone, which I often eat solo, I probably did not look my best dressed having been on the road for 5 hours. Not used to being treated so rudely when all I wanted was something decent to eat. How about “Welcome to the restaurant!”

Best Mexican in Basalt, hands down. Hard to successfully do “surf and turf” in the mountains and they manage to knock it out of the park.
