Oh my gosh Branson need El Lago we have been eating at their Branson west location for years. They can accommodate Large party’s or a small table. Service is still great and the food is amazing. If you like Margaritas this is your place. Check out there flight of margaritas great price you will need to share it, it’s so big!

Came here for the second time, since the place opened and have to only give it a two star review. Each time I returned, it seems to go downhill. Food portions are small on a three item combo your beans and rice count as one of the items. Purchased the fajitas again as well. This time it was primarily green bell peppers and onions with lack of Christmas very mushy and overcooked.

Ever since moving to the area, we’ve been searching for the best Mexican food restaurant. We’ve got our favorites, and they will continue to be in rotation, but El Lago is really tops. They bring you complimentary chips and salsa, of course; the chips are beautifully thin and delicate and the salsa was so good, I ordered a container to take home with me! My husband ordered the Chimichanga Fajita (cheese sauce on the side – I never heard of cheese sauce on a Chimichanga until moving to the Midwest) and ordered the Nachos Fajita. I have never had a better plate of nachos. Both were so flavorful, I wish my camera could capture it. We will be coming back!

The food and margaritas were very good. We had excellent service. Our waiter came back multiple times to offer more chips, salsa and drinks. The price is great for all that you get. We left stuffed and very happy with our meal.

This was El Lagos second location (I think) and it is so big and so cool. They made a beautiful restaurant to go along with their outstanding menu. Although it’s hard to try something different from their Steak Fajitas, we forced ourselves to try other offerings and we have totally loved everything we have tried! You have to try El Lago at Hwy 65 and Shepherd if the hills. Yummy!

So, I had NOTHING but good things told to me about this place from the Branson West location. We decided to try this new one in Branson. It was most definitely not bad at all. Some things were even better than Tequilas 2. Those things bring the chips and salsa. The chips were excellent. Thin, crispy, with some oil flavor. You could tell they were made fresh in house. Salsa had a different flavor than most other places I’ve been to. It was not FANTASTIC but it was one of the best I’ve had so far. Everything else was just on par. Not great but not bad at all. The only complaint I have is toward my sons meal. He ordered the “chicken tenders” and what came out was frozen Dino nuggets. It was funny but sort of ridiculous. Tequilas 2 still remains undefeated.
