Its very meh. If you’re looking for tacos and in the area, yea why not for take out. The food is good for the price but not the best tacos ever. The inside doesn’t have AC, no music, no decorations, or anything. It’s more of a take out location. Love going to El Limon Ambler but this is not the same.

Definitely authentic Mexican. But, I’ve had better. I’ll give it 7/10. Another downside would be the steps you have to climb before entering. Their green sauce is the best I’ve taste so far.

Overall, I love dining at El Limon. My go-to is the location in Ardmore but I was meeting with a friend and this location made the most sense logistically. My experience at this location was a bit lack luster compared to Ardmore. Had enchiladas and they were fine but nothing to write home about. The complimentary margarita was not good but considering the price (nothing), I can’t complain. Just keep in mind if you ever think to ask for one. The atmosphere was a bit less warm than I would have liked and it was a bit drafty. Staff was pleasant enough. So as a whole, wasn’t a bad experience but nothing to write home about. If possible, go to Ardmore instead.

Food was decent. You get large portions for the price. I tried a little bit of everything. I got the Enchilladas, Tacos, and Loaded Nachos. All three were very filling. I would recommend topping with the red or green sauce that they offer. The ingredients are a little dryer than some other places, but it seems that way because they are actually fresh and cooked on a grille. I will definitely be returning.

I order tacos from here frequently, my personal favorite are the Al Pastor tacos and secondly the barbacoa. They are very reasonable priced and very tasty. I was disappointed in the size of the rice it came in a very small container, it also did taste a bit undercooked and under seasoned. I probably wouldn’t order the rice again but the tacos were delicious.

I had a great experience with the restaurant manager at the City Ave location. My delivery order was cancelled through Grubhub and he took time out of his day to personally drive it to me. Just received a chirizo alambre which I always order from this location. I paid $14 and change for it and received a $5 portion. I called to let the woman at the register aware of this, and I may as well have been talking to a rock. This restaurant is inconsistent with their portions and the cost of of the food doesn’t merely reflect what you get. Buyer beware…unless you like small portions and want to pay twice what its worth.

I normally go to the Havertown location, but was in the area so decided to give this location a try. The food was ok. I ordered the Quesabirria and the meat itself is so dry, there is little to no cheese, no onions and no flavor at all. Im not sure if they were having a bad day or what but my food was just ok. Whenever I order from the Havertown location I have 0 complaints, the food is always so flavorful.

The woman who took my order was rude. When I asked questions she rolled her eyes in a mocking way. When my food was ready, it seemed as if she did not want to serve me. The food was not good. It was bland and inauthentic. I will not be returning. I doubt this place stays in business much longer.
