I have been trying out many chimichangas in the Bay Area. Most of them have too thick tortilla. El Mastro had thin tortilla which was great. However the meat inside wasn’t tasty and below expectations. The best chicken chimichangas ever was in Chico, CA, but sadly that restaurant has closed down.

Pretty good spot. Solid Mexican food, not a taqueria though. There’s a bar and TVs that are showing games most of the time. The combo plates are worth it. Pass on the guacamole. Salsa is decent. Service is really nice.

Food is ok but not great. Burrito was mostly rice. Mole sauce was fair. Flautas were decent. Service was also fair – friendly, but kids food came out last, we had to stop servers to get drink refills, etc. It is not bad, but at this price point I would expect better.
