Bland best describes this place…no love in the food at this place. The salad had a gooey mess at the bottom . Chorizo and cheese $8.00 was just sausage. Very little cheese. Guacamole was so refined, must have strained it from a cheese cloth; No onions tomatoes, no texture, no salt, bland. Chili Verde was okay. It needed tortillas served with it. Margaritas were so smooth, wondered if it had any tequila present. They did not have a salsa picosia. I do not recommend this place, skip it and choose taco hell for more taste in your food. 17Jul21

OMG forget the other “Mexican” restaurant in Murphy, this place is amazing, truly authentic and incredibly fresh food with all the great flavors you expect. Imagine the staff is from Mexico!!!

Delicious chicken bowl, recommended by the waiter was very tasty, but americanized i felt. Couldn’t finish the bowl as I was very full. I would order it again. Salsa was on point with the fresh hot chips.. margarita on the rocks was tasty but I personally couldn’t taste the tequila, but could feel it. Lol. Ordered a second margarita and was very satisfied.

Delicious nachos! The special flour chips are worth the trip. They are fried up, served still hot and when you bite….it’s crispy but fluffyish somehow. It’s not like normal tortilla chips. They’re like crispy pita bread like but ….idk, go try them. You will see what I’m talking about.

This is the second time we have ordered pick up and found did not have all we ordered when we got home. Both times when we called to report the missing food, they told us to bring the order back so they could look themselves! Not to mention the order was called in and told it would be ready in 15 minutes. When we arrived to pick it up, they had not started cooking it. They said they forgot it, and we had to wait almost a hour to get the food. Will not be back.

On a lunch date with my husband, our regular restaurant was full so we decided to give this place a chance. 1st and last time. The hostess sat us down and brought us our chips and we sat and wait for someone to come take our drink order for 15 mins (mind you this place was not busy at all aside for 1 table that had maybe 6 people and a few other tables the place was pretty much empty) we weren’t acknowledged by passing waiters. When another couple was seated at the table across from us, and their drink order was taken immediately we got up and left. If this is the type of lazy I’ll serve who I want when I want services your provide in your restaurant, you won’t last to much longer

Sadly we returned today 4/23 and were very disappointed. We won’t return. We’ve eaten here many times but I updated my review today. Service less than mediocre, food was not hot, salsa was way too hot spicy (which had not been in the past). Just read someone’s review and didn’t know they use lard in the vegetarian dishes that I’ve been ordering all along. Plenty of other Mexican restaurants nearby to choose.
