I got a bean and cheese burrito with tomatoes and it was cold the cheese wasn’t even melted!!!! The hottest thing in the bag was the salsa!!!! It was not worth $8.72. The burritos from Taco Bell are hotter than the burrito that this place gave me. I just wasted my money. I threw it in the trash. Won’t be coming back here again.

Food was excellent. The only complaint I have is the service. I ordered first, but everyone else’s behind me got their order first. I only ordered one burrito and took 15 minutes for me to wait. Other than that, the food was really good!

What a nice and quaint little gem for quick Mexican food. The interior is clean with a cute layout. The food was prepared in the open kitchen, which you can see over the cashier shoulder. The food was not bad at all, the rice could use a little more seasoning/salt, but over all not bad. Definitely give this place a try, and be turned off by unkempt strip mall.

I’ve tried many carry out Mexican restaurants in the area and this is one of my new favorites. I had a carne asada burrito and it was muy bueno. Unlike other places they cook the meat to order making it fresh and juicy with lots of flavor. If you’re used to places that scoop pre-cooked meat you’ll be super impressed with the El Maguay Express way that separates them from the others. Highly recommend and will be back!

This restaurant has been around for a long time and a very good family business. Everything is made fresh to order. The tacos are filled with a lot of meat and the enchiladas and taquitos are just delicious.

The food here is delicious and I have been a loyal customer, recommending to others for a long time, BUT I WILL NOT BE BACK. I’ve been put off before by the Owners unwillingness to give customers more salsa when requested but have tried to overlook it. When she’s not there the other servers are great! But this week she finally pushed me over the edge. My friend and I, who go every other Saturday, were on the patio for 1½ hours from 11:30 to 1:00 when she came out and wanted us to move inside because we had been there too long. There were 2 open tables and NO one waiting. When I politely said we always tried to be aware if there were people waiting, she said the other tables were for 4 & 6 customers and we were at a 2 person table.
