Food was great. Waitress was somewhat rude. The thing that got me was a $55 bill and then I see a sign that says I will be charged 3.5% for using my card. Which should have been 1.92 but I was charged $2.50 for using my card. I mean for real. How is charging to use your card even still a thing

Nice restaurant, friendly service. Do not order steak at a Mexican restaurant, they’re the lowest quality meat. Fatty and gristley. Beware paying with a card. They charge a fee for non-cash transactions.

Quick service, not expensive, atmosphere is good, liked the food overall too. Offers free chips and salsa, lunch menu includes free drink. Only removing one star as I have eaten better mexican food than this many times and one of the servers serving at other table seemed rude. Server at my table was nice.

Its looked just like any fast food Mexican place from the outside but its was beautifully done inside. Very clean interior and cordial staff. Great menu choice and reasonably priced. No wait to be seated and served quickly. Plenty of parking and spacious.

I was a little unsure about El Maguey the first time I went, but after several trips now (and counting) I can say that they are easily one of the best Mexican restaurants in a town that has a surprising amount of Hispanic restaurants for it’s size. Great job! Keep up the good work!
