It was hard for me today going to lunch here because we had my husband’s 75th birthday celebration in one of the rooms a few years ago, and he died last November. But the food is always good, and the service is quick and attentive. It’s a good basic place for a variety of Mexican dishes. Today the beans and the sauces seemed a little liquidy, but the flavors were great. The margaritas that went by looked really great, so I’ll definitely try one sometime when I’m not driving.

Perfect hole in the wall mexican place. Food was fast (maybe 5 minutes after we ordered). It was affordable, plentiful, and really good! Surprised how much beef they put in everything with beef prices up. Chips and salsa were the best. Will come back.

Absolutely a hidden gem, delicious house made salsa, the best I’ve ever had, next time we might see if we can get a big container to go to eat with tortilla chips, our entrees were also very delicious, and the Margaritas were very great and satisfying. We will definitely make this our go to for Hispanic food when we go up to Murphy NC. And we may try the one in Blue Ridge close to Ingles soon also.

When we first got here we loved this place in 2019. It’s changed. Portions have changed. Menu keeps growing but it’s more variations entrees with the same sides. It’s lost a lot of its gooey dripping in the most amazing nacho cheese plates. I can never explain why an establishment decides to stop offering the excellent pieces that put them on the map and opt for quick cheap forgettable dishes. The staff is friendly. The drinks are good and cheap. But they’ve lost a step. They were IMHO the best Mexican place between Ellijay and Bryson City at one point.
