YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The Seafood plates is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. I had never been to El Mar, so this was my first visit. I found the bright blue building without any trouble, and I was happy to find it has great parking. The restaurant is pleasant and clean. There is Mexican music playing that makes you want to dance! The food is clean and well prepared. The prices are comparable to other Mexican restaurants, and the large portions ensure you get your money’s worth. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. I didn’t have anything from the bar but the drinks were popular among the other diners. I will definitely visit El Mar again.

Great place, nice decor inside and the food is pretty great. Even though they are a sea food place they do have several options without sea food (like fajitas, and they are delicious). The seafood choices are incredible and really really good. They do serve alcohol but only limited to beer (bottle) and frozen margaritas, at least for now they are missing a bartender. The prices are a bit high but considering that everything is expensive now days and that they serve sea food they are not that bad.

Excellent fish tacos, great presentation, marvelous margaritas, good atmosphere. Seemed to be shorthanded but with a Margarita in hand it turned out to be one of the most pleasurable and newest(to me) dining venue I’ve experienced in quite sometime.

If your looking for the best ceviche in Waco, great customer service, El Mar is the place! I’ve been waiting for a place like this in town and I was more than satisfied! I had the Ceviche Mixto and my wife had the Pina Loca both were fantastic! The Topo Chico with salt and lime in a frosted mug was absolutely refreshing!
