We stopped here for lunch before heading home from vacation. It was clear that the guy in there was waiting on all the tables, answering the phones, and seating guests by himself and he still somehow managed to be friendly and efficient. The food was very, very good. Every one from the our 1 year old to our 6 year old to my husband and I, all cleared our plates. Highly recommend this place!

El mariachi more than that my expectations. It was the closest Mexican restaurant to the hotel we were staying at. That is why we initially chose here. Ecstatic that we ended up here. Not a lot of parking, not sure if there was more on the other side of the building. Huge outdoor dining area that would be useful in spring and summer. From the second I walked in, I loved the charm of the restaurant. They were way understaffed, the host who is also the bartender and waiter warned us ahead of time. He told us if we stayed we might have to wait for our food. That never happened. He was right on top of everything . He was visibly stressed, but did a fantastic job. I loved all the decor. Every table top and chair had a different theme. It depicted what life was like in Mexico in the past.

Good flavors and a wide range of Mexican dishes offered including some you don’t normally find in the area. Prices were reasonable and portions were filling but not overly large. Since we didn’t dine in but had takeout we couldn’t try drinks but the chips they gave us were fresh and crispy to go with the meal. Since the restaurant is small space can be at a premium on busy nights but this is a great option for Mexican food in the area and worth the wait.

Great food – delicious steak tacos. Kids had a taco salad, it was good. Gluten free knowledgeable. Margarita was okay, not great. The tacos were quite good – everyone wanted some of mine!

Was very happy to discover this wonderful Mexican-run Mexican restaurant in the heart of the NH lakes district. Conveniently located on Route 25 in Moultonborough just near turn off towards Wolfboro and Castle in the Clouds – it couldn’t be more convenient or adorable inside and out.The decor inside was very heart warming – brilliant painted/carved chairs from Mexico are the dominant decor, and the waitstaff is super friendly and accommodating. The outdoor tables looked welcoming as well. Food-wise, we had very nice combo platters which were fresh and very tasty.

Amazing food and friendly service. My family of 6 was very happy with all our meals. The vegetables were so fresh and abundant. They were able to easily cater meals to any dietary needs. Overall great experience. I will definitely be visiting here often.
