This is one of the best Mexican style restaurants that I have enjoyed in years… The atmosphere is top notch, with Rail Road dinning-car flair… The excellent staff was attentive and well balanced in service…but the food… Incredible! Serving sizes is very generous and the shrimp in mind was huge and full of flavor… AND the Horchata is a must have… Absolutely the best I ever had… I cannot say enough good stuff about this place… Enjoy!

Just moved to Rocky Mount last year. Found this gem not far from the house. The service and food is so awesome. I love the environment too. So relaxing and inviting. Everyone has such a great personality that makes you want to come back. This will be my go to spot from here on out when I want great Mexican food

The best Mexican Place in the area of Rocky Mount, I highly recommend this place. They have the best mexican street tacos and choices between chicken, steak, shimp etc. By the way they have a lot of options in the menu and choose between Enchiladas, Burritos, Fajitas, Del mar and a lot more options. Also, a good atmosphere for the family and friends.

We tried El Mariachi for the first time tonight as a family. Walking in is such a beautiful experience in itself with their decor. We were greeted by the staff right away and seated immediately. Our waitress was great with our kids and explaining the dishes. The appetizers were amazing we loved the fresh guacamole, Queso, and salsa. Our main dishes came out quickly. The flavor is amazing you can taste each note of flavor. Highly recommend eating here, it’s a wonderful experience!

1/1/2023 Update from last year: My family come here about twice a month. We have tried all the other Mexican restaurants in Rocky Mount but this is by far the best. The menus have been updated. Prices are up since last year but so is everywhere else. We love the clean and the great service. Yuri is always our fav!

I arrived in this city in approximately 2019. I visited this business and found the food to be good. In 2023 I returned. I entered a nice conversation with one of the waitresses I believe she may be a manager. It was very nice. I ordered my food to go and returned home.

Some of the best taco’s i have had in years. The fresh guacamole was so good. The fajitas potions were big and the meat was tender, the pork was falling apart, the chorizo was there for a nice spicy kick. 5 out of 5 quality and service. Definitely would make it my go-to spot if i lived in the area. Well worth the stop if you are driving through the area.

Honestly, this was probably one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever ate at. They were so nice and it didn’t even take long for our food to come out. I got the AC Texano, and it was so good! I got mine w/o peppers and tomatoes because I don’t like them. As an appetizer we had spinach dip, and it was different than the spinach dip I’m used to but it was really good! For desert we had churros and when I say they were so delicious I mean it! They were cooked perfectly and the cinnamon, sugar, and caramel & chocolate syrup on them really made them even better.
