Food is good but dine in, don’t take out. Your take out portions are much smaller than when you dine in. Twice I’ve ordered with no beans, and each time they get it with beans. I have like 3 bites of rice in the to go container and you get a lot more on a dine in plate. That’s usually the case when you pick up your to go order.

This was my first visit to the new location in Downtown Ionia. I don’t know why I waited so long, but after such a wonderful experience and meal, I can guarantee I will be returning often! My Steak and Grilled Chicken Fajitas were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Having a full service bar at the new location truly adds to the experience. Everyone in our large group of 14 that ordered a Margarita absolutely raved about them! Our server handled the large group with only a couple small hiccups, which were quickly rectified to everyone’s satisfaction. He was very professional and pleasant to everyone. I can’t wait to take my wife and adult children there often in the future.

Love, love, love this place! The food is awesome and plentiful. If you’re unfamiliar with their dishes, staff will explain them to you. If you like tequila and don’t know what to order, they’ll help you with that too! They do a Sunday Open Mic night, where there are lots of talented locals. They don’t rush you right out the door either. They treat you like family. This is our new favorite spot!

My wife and I found this restaurant on Google maps. We were not disappointed with the food or the service. If you get a chance and are in the area this is a must stop. Very tasty food. The photo is the traditional hot lava bowl.

Our waiter was as amazing as the food. My son & I ordered taco salad & husband ordered 2 tacos. The waiter offered more chips & salsa as we waited for our food. Our food arrived & he offered drink refills. The owner always walks around asking how things are too. This is our favorite local restaurant.

Wife and I stopped in for the first time since they moved to their new location as we had heard it was better, well i am not sold. still the same Gordon food service Mexican which is ok for some people but we prefer the traditional Mexican food. what was really frustrating was the service, we ate early about 4:30 and sat at the bar. We each ordered a drink, we received the drink and the bar tender took our order we ordered our meals with some guacamole for an app to go with the chips and salsa. i asked two different times for the chips and salsa, we finished our drinks and sat for another 10 mins ( would have liked to get another drink, but bar tender was not at the bar). she brought are chips, guacamole and salsa with our order, so much for appetizers. the place was not busy is the worst part of this. Food was average Tex Mex. Service was below average.
