If you like spicy seafood cocktails, you’ll love El Marisquero! Parked behind a gas station off I-35 this was an odd location but the owners definitely added some TLC to create a beach vibe. We tried the ceviche de camarón tostada and it was all the spicies!!! Refreshing lunch on a searing hot day. We will be back to try the tacos once the weather cools down a bit!

One of the best tacos I had on my week trip to Austin. Everything tasted to fresh and full of flavor! I had the ceviche 3 amigos, the baja fish taco and the grilled fish taco. All three were outstanding but my fav was the grilled fish taco which was just unbelievably good. Friendly service to boot!

SOOO delicious. I recommend this place to everyone. Went with my family and ended getting the: shrimp cocktail, ceviche, beer batter fish taco and the El Marisquero quesidilla. Loved every bite of it.

As close as you can possibly get within 787XX area codes to the aguachile verde at Contramar/Entremar in CDMX. Ceviche tres amigos (imho needs another couple manzano chiles but a couple dashes of a hot sauce work too) is also good but my goodness the aguachile! So good!

The fish ceviche was delicious and I really enjoyed it, but would advise people with shelfish allergies to be aware of cross contamination as I had to take antihistamines after eating it. The seasoning is really good and they’re very nice and friendly too. The location can be a little busy and the gas station can get a bit rowdy, it seems.

Amazing fresh seafood options with just the right amount of spice, acid, and seasonings. Fried fish was so crispy and light. Aguachile rojo has a strong kick of heat, the verde was a little milder but still noticeable. Can’t wait to try more.

Agree with the reviews and new write-ups, this is one of Austin’s best. Fresh, spicy and gives me nostalgia for my time in Mexico. Has become our go-to weekend spot. Tower, Aguachiles, ceviche and tacos are a must.

Huge portions. Great prices. Fresh seafood. Be careful though, the spicy is *really* spicy. I highly recommend it.

Found this place by chance looking through photos, and talking to some locals we were sitting next to at El Marisquero, they were surprised we were able to track down this place as its a fav among locals.
