They have the best service & food in Albany! It’s a cozy atmosphere. The mgr Juan & his staff are very personable! Margaritas are the best around! Even if they are busy we have always got supreme service & hot timely food! This is my fave place in Albany area! They will make you feel like family!

Today, I received some superior-level service from El Maya. Placed a take out order and had a lovely chat with an employee while waiting at pick up. He took the time to check over my food with me and made sure I had everything I needed and helped me carry the orders out to my car. Special shoutout to Juan – great job!

I haven’t been to El Maya in a long and decided to visit it again. I was disappointed in the chips and salsa. The chips had no taste or salt. They were bland. When I asked for salt the waiter didn’t bring a salt shaker. He brought packets of salt . The food looked delicious, but it was a let down. The margaritas were really good. If you’re looking for great margaritas, they are the place.

I got two shrimp tacos and one steak. They were delicious! The chips and salsa and the queso were great too. My group’s only complaint was that our server seemed to be really overwhelmed and kept forgetting to bring us multiple things after we asked for them a few times. But she tried! Otherwise our visit was great and we’ll definitely be back.

Although we have eaten at this establishment many times I have never left a review. We usually try to get our regular server Brooke because we absolutely love her!! Even when we aren’t able to sit in her section she ALWAYS makes it a point to stop by to make sure to say hi and to see if we have everything we need. Tonight we visited with a party of 20 on her night off. I definitely have to compliment the two servers who waited on us….JESSICA AND JAKE! They worked great together as a team to stay on top of everything we needed as well as wait on other tables! When a problem came up they were extremely quick to take care of it! I also have to give a shout out to the manager JAUN!!! He has always been very professional and patient. We have never been there when we didn’t see him greet every table to make sure his customers are enjoying their visit. If there is a problem he will do his best to fix it! He is definitely an asset to the establishment!! I will absolutely recommend El maya in Leesburg.
