Oh my goodness. This was so super good! It is a beautiful restaurant and the menu is HUGE! A hard decision for sure. Sometimes with such a large menu the food is only ok..Not in this case. The staff was always busy even though it was late on a Monday so not super busy. They were not just sitting around that’s for sure. They have really good margaritas. I had on the rocks and my Husband had frozen. My Husband had the burrito dinner. I had the pineapple fajita. It’s plenty for two people to share that’s for sure. We live just south of Nashville so it’s an hours drive. WORTH IT!!

My wife and I chanced upon this place and gave it a try. We were seated almost immediately .. and why not? It’s a rather large establishment, and very few people were there, as we visited at an off hour. The complimentary chips & salsa were peculiar. The chips are thin, and the salsa has a different — but very delicious — taste. Service is a bit slower than I’m accustomed to, especially considering how few people were there. The food is delicious! The portion size is more than adequate. The staff is friendly. Prices are a little higher than I’d prefer but not too terrible.

Great Mexican restaurant in the small town of Franklin, Kentucky! We’ve lived in this area for 5 years and only found out about El Mazatlan recently when friends of ours took us there for dinner. The food is very good. It’s always served fresh and hot. We absolutely love their chips and queso. The prices are very reasonable with an average combination plate. Being around $11. It’s become our favorite and we go there or get takeout at least once or twice a week. I highly recommend mostly everything that’s on the menu. As far as dessert don’t order the fried ice cream. It’s not real fried ice cream and we ordered it once and it certainly wasn’t what we were expecting. Service as always, fast and friendly and the restaurant is very clean. So glad we found this local favorite!
