Learn from my mistakes. MISTAKE 1. I let my boss choose. MISTAKE 2. I ordered the sopiallas thinking it was for one person and its more like for two or three. With that being said if every other place has a 30 minute wait and you are starving, give this place a try.

We had our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner in the private room upstairs. Didn’t know if it was going to go off as planned due to scheduling issues & really bad thunderstorms & tornado sirens that evening, but it was an awesome night! Not only was the food great, but the service was outstanding! Nacho & his staff went above & beyond to accommodate our guests! This place truly cares about the satisfaction of their customers!

I ordered grilled tilapia with charro beans and mixed veggies. The beans were bland but the veggies were well seasoned and tasty. The tilapia was warm, not hot and pink in the center. I sent it back and the manager brought back a new filet that was perfectly cooked with a complimentary daiquiri drink with his profuse apologies. I really appreciated how they made this right without any hassle. The server was very attentive. Our chips never got low and our drinks stayed full.

The overall experience was terrible honestly. The service was not good at all. We stated up front we are trying to share fajitas between 3 people. Our food arrives and it’s fajitas for one, 4 total tortillas, and one set-up. The server only then informs us they don’t have fajitas for 2. We asked for salt and more tortillas multiple times, none were ever brought to us. We asked for more meat the server mentioned he would ask if it were possible then we don’t see him for another 10 minutes. At this point we are furious and just ready to leave. We ask for the bill and are charged an outrageous amount for a drink that tasted terrible, fajitas for one and a bowl of guacamole. We ask for the manager and tell him this, he keeps offering us more food but we just want to go home. He slightly discounts our bill, but we still end up paying around $40 for this awful experience. The food was good, we were extremely disappointed that we left still hungry and feeling a bit robbed. As a person who worked as a server for nearly 8 years I 10/10 do not recommend.

Had brunch here today for the first time and it might be my new favorite place! Chips and salsa are a make it or break it for me at any Mexican restaurant and this place did not disappoint! I had the breakfast tacos with sausage which was delicious. We had a pitcher of sangria (20% off on the weekend) and the manager shared the yummy recipe with us! The staff was attentive and appreciative of our business. Great experience, great food and the location on the McKinney square is perfect!

Great staff, really good food but get ready to walk unless you’re lucky enough to find great parking like I did. There are parking LOTS all around the downtown area. Be patient and be ok with walking feom one of the LOTS a few blocks away. Once your have lunch or dinner you can walk the McKinney square. Great for exercise and to discover many awesome shops.

Made dinner reservations for my son’s birthday 2 weeks in advance for 20 people. Called and verified a few days before, and the restaurant even called me and verified the day of. We arrived 15 early and all the staff had no clue about the reservations and had nothing setup. We had to move tables around ourselves because they did not set enough seats out and not enough tables were together. Mind you they were not busy at all. The waiter seemed to have very little experience and messed a few of the good orders up and quite a few drink orders. We asked for lemons for our water and received limes instead because they do not have lemons. Have multiple tickets at the table and had to have nearly all of them corrected multiple times. I have been to this restaurant many times and bragged about how good it was. Sadly we were not impressed.
