I have been many place around the country, because I love food. El Mejor offers a friendly family environment. There is no alcoholic beverages served but quite a few bars. El Mejor also offers ice cream world, and they have all the good stuff. Many types of home made Hispanic ice cream. Prices are fair 16.88 for a plate and a drink. Next to the airport with many great accommodations for you to enjoy. Stop in say hi and grab some grub and a treat, you won’t regret it. For my trucking family, there is limited truck parking across the street in the paved lot across from McDonald’s.

OK, let me tell you something about this place, it’s simply some of the best Mexican cuisine I’ve ever had the pleasure of enjoying. I travel for work and I dine in at least 1 Mexican joint per week and if I can, 2. I had a bad experience at another place in town and was feeling pretty down, but El Major did not disappoint. The staff was friendly, the owner was very nice to give me some of his time to compliment the food, the place was simple and not overdecorated and very clean. IF I’m in Lincoln much longer I’m gong back, heck I might just go back tomorrow, I’ve read tons of reviews for for this place, but the majority are for the previous owners serving a totally different kind of food. Do not go by the 3.7 star rating (at the time of me writing this) this place deserves 10 stars. I had the spicy burrito with chicken and I was sweating, it was perfect. I also had a side of Chili Relleno and I gotta say it might have been the best one I’ve ever had. They do things very traditional here, there are no short cuts and it pays off big time in both quality and quantity. I can’t wait to go back.

I would NOT recommend this place at all. We had Chinese food. I had sweet and sour chicken. I agree with another reviewer that the food must be prepared ahead of time and microwaved. The breading on the chicken was soggy, like it had sauce poured over it and left to sit, but there was no sauce on the plate. The veggies were also soggy. This definitely was not freshly prepared. The dining area was not clean. The place was deserted and I now know why. What a disappointment.

Staying the night and we needed a quick bite. They had our food ready less than 7 minutes after we ordered it! Nice amount of food, tasted good and filled us up! Loved how helpful and friendly all the staff were as well!

First time eating here. Went in for lunch. The service was amazing as well as the food. Very authentic. We were given samples of the different homemade sauces that they have to offer, which were delicious. I can’t believe we just now found this place!!

Delicious food and excellent service. We ordered Thai food for us and chicken strips for the kids. The breading on the chicken was really good and the Thai food was excellent. The whole place was very clean and the staff was friendly. We will definitely be going back.
