I called El Mason for a to go order I didn’t see in the menu. She said yes we have tortilla soup. My order was ready within 10 minutes to pickup! I got salsa and chips with my soup and the best chips for the tortilla soup I’ve ever had or seen with this. Awesome soup chef !! and lady at the counter! Great service, great prices, awesome food!!

Been here several times. This time, food was not good. Service was disappointing and the atmosphere had a lot to be desired. To the employees, when you’re getting ready for a large group, pick up the chairs to move them. Do not scoot the chairs across the floor making loud, screeching noises. Next time, will go and find a food truck. Very disappointed with our last visit. Makes me wonder if the restaurant is under new management.

We’ve always loved El Meson. The food is phenomenal. My ONLY complaint is that I was in yesterday & ordered a burrito Gigante w/spicy chicken & after I got home it was ground beef. My husband said it was good but I ordered & he wanted the spicy chicken. I don’t want free food

I have to change my 5 star review of this place & reduce it. I go online like many times before to look at the menu, I call & ordered the same dish as usual for $8.99 but when I get there to pick up this guy tries to charge over $13 for the same meal. I ask him nicely why the price is different this time, maybe I ordered wrong & he tells me the menu is wrong on the internet. I’ve ordered this dish many times without problems. All he had to do was honor the price & all wouldve been cool. He tries to make it right after getting caught & I’m waiting 20 minutes total but then says for ME TO CHECK THE PRICE NEXT TIME. I said you fix your menu online & he put the palm of his hand up towards my face! I told him immediately you better put your hand down! I hope he’s not an owner with his horrible attitude towards long time customers. Here’s how you handle it, “Sorry sir that’s our mistake not yours that our online menu is wrong & we’ll honor that price of course.” No attitude or bad reviews come from talking to customers like you have sense.

Never had a bad experience at El Meson. Their chips and salsa are good, but their queso is excellent so I always get it also. They have plenty of vegetarian options, and their veggies fajitas are phenomenal. Service is great, the place is clean and well-decorated, and their porch is a favorite in warm weather. I’ll continue to patronize this place.
