Stopped in here with hubby for lunch after visiting the skatepark nearby. Maggie, our server, was definitely on top of things and super friendly. The spicy marg was perfect! Finally a spicy marg that was spicy enough for my taste. The Chile relleno was amazing. I love their salsa, it’s got a kick. My hubby got the Mexican hamburger plus a side of chicharones the last 2 times we’ve visited and was happy both times. Their portions are large and there’s always some leftovers. Prices are fair. We definitely recommend.

My family came for Taco Tuesday and frozen margaritas, and El Meson quickly became our favorite go-to restaurant both for almost weekly taco nights and occasional weekend brunch. The staff are amazing — friendly and attentive. The food and drinks are delicious. We’re so happy we found El Meson.

I have been going there for years. They had the best salsa around, very tasty, plenty of diced onions and peppers. I was there a few days ago and was disappointed because the salsa more closely resembled tomato soup, no veggies, not much flavor. Then there was the burrito, the ground beef was like mush, apparently over cooked, and not very tasty. Finally, the wait staff was not very attentive, although there were very few customers. Sorry It’s gone this way.

This place is amazing! The margs are delicious and the tacos on taco Tuesday were scrumptious. Fredy took great care of us and had the best recommendations. Their happy hour looks awesome and we will be back to try it out!

Im not a chef, but isn’t the cheese in an enchilada supposed to be melted? Same as a Chili relleno.. chili should be cooked right? Beans and rice were good. Guacamole, too much onion, cilantro and lime, where is the avacado??

Awesome little local mexican spot. We sat out on their balcony and had one of the best mountain sunset views I had seen around town. Service was quick and extremely nice. Can’t wait to come back!

First off took forever to get seated and it wasn’t busy. Seated at table got served chips salsa and water. I placed an order for a margarita. After 5 to 7 minutes waitress takes my order for Carnitas. Food came quickly, even faster than the margarita that was ordered first. The Carnitas were like dry chuncks of charcoal. The beans look like they been under a heat lamp for days. They had a crust on top of them. The green chili which came on the side tasted like flour and water with very little green chili flavor. Not a very good experience at all.
