Our waiter was very friendly and polite. All of our food was hot and delicious. Although the tamales were a little spicy . The Special Burrito was great I would highly recommend it. Their frozen margaritas are delicious and really hit the spot. The chips were thin and crispy. Salsa was a little runny but the flavor was spot on. Definitely our new favorite.

First time here. Had the Cheese Steak Tacos with rice and they were awesome! Began with a basket of chips and salsa and it was good. All that with a coke was $17,50. I liked it and will return.

El Metate is our favorite restaurant. The waiters are a pleasure, and always happy to serve. The meals are delicious, comes out in a timely manner, and you get enough food for the price. They make the best frozen margaritas around, so give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

We stop here whenever we’ve been hiking in the area. They have the absolute best food! Their steak fajitas are loaded with meat and it’s really flavorful. We also get nice little chicken tacos to go for our pups (they hike too)! Always really friendly and a big menu with some unique items. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

The most bland mexican food I have ever eaten. I dont usually write reviews but I couldn’t let it slide. Taco bell has better flavor. My mom’s beef tacos were soggy and the beef was very liquidy. Also, the chips tasted like old oil and were overcooked. Beans tasted funny and we were concerned they had spoiled. Would not return. I was shocked this place had a parking lot full of cars and excellent reviews. Maybe this is on par for the area…
