Me and my boyfriend went and there we only one other table of customers in the restaurant, after placing our order and waiting 35 mins for the food and watching other people getting their food the server told us they were just putting in our order. We ended up letting them know we were just going to leave. Never going back.

I just tried to try this place but the service here is abysmal. Though there was only one table seated there was no waiter or waitress in sight. I gave it 5 minutes then pulled out my phone and said I’d leave if I found somewhere else to eat before I saw a server. Almost 10 minutes later I walked out without having seen a server. I will say the table that was seated and had been served was in good spirits at least. Avoid.

Dinner with the family tonight before our Marching Band Competition at Zionsville High School! The place sits off the main road behind Texas Roadhouse. The outside looks inviting and well maintained! Inside was vibrant and colorful with a great Southwest feel! The staff was quick and efficient and very nice! The food was some of the better Mexican cuisine I’ve had! If you’re looking for good Mexican without the long wait, check out this place! They even have a kids menu with classics like chicken nuggets and fries!

My husband works close by and would always go with his coworkers. Finally went today for lunch and was impressed! Super cute building and fun interior – really like the courtyard area. Place looked/felt clean and service was quick, efficient, and friendly. I had the lunch chimichanga with chicken and it was delicious! They had a lunch special that included the pop, which was nice. The chips and salsa was yummy too. Definitely will go again when in the area.

As soon as I walked into the door the server had an attitude. He walked me to my table and threw the menu down and walked away. When he came back to ask for the drink order I asked for the Tap options. He said they were on the back of the menu. Turn over the menu and it is faded and unreadable. I asked if he could read them and he said yes. So I asked him to read them to me as I could not he said no.

We are regular customers at El Mezcal and have loved the service and the food. They have a brand new menu and we are exploring the new dinners that are available on the new menu and the food has reached a new level of awesome. My wife had the ChoriPollo and I had the steak A La Diabla. The dinner was the best they have done. The ChoriPollo has an unbelievable sauce. Needless to say we highly recommend both dinners you won’t regret having either one. Thanks to Leo and A’Manuel the service and food is always perfect.

I stopped in for a to-go order. The service was great, the food was really good. My order was not perfect. I was missing the tortillas for my fajitas and the whipped topping for my sopapia. My food was so good and the price was great. Great little spot. I will dine in next time.
