Tonight was our 3rd visit and it was absolutely perfect. We had a party of 9 which included 3 small children. The staff was kind and very attentive to all of us. The food is oh so delicious! We have tried a few different items and all have been excellent. The rice is our favorite! They also have decorated very nicely. I highly recommend!

We loved the food! It’s hard to find good Al Pastor Tacos anywhere outside of Chicago but these ones were perfect. Steak tacos didn’t disappoint either and the Horchatas were amazing. The atmosphere is great and the restrooms were nice, clean and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better waitress either. She was amazing! Great people, great food, and great environment!

New Mexican restaurant where El Motor was, in the corner next to Sweet frogs. Their second is located in Orland park. Food is sub-par and not homemade meals. Box spices and pre-made items. Chicken dishes were greasy and wet. Disappointing, Too bad El Motor left, it was a much better choice.

I absolutely love El Mezcal. It feels good to be able to speak my native tongue with the owners. Their guacamole is to die for. I’ve tried the torta, and flautas both are delicious. My husband has tried the shrimp and burritos; he’s said both were seasoned well and good. We will definitely be returning. The decor is beautiful, especially the mural. Definitely recommend.

Stopped on a whim on our way through town. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Asked how we wanted things made and willing to make things spicier, change toppings, etc. The pastor is excellent! Crispy with bits of pineapple. Come for that!

Delicious authentic Mexican food. I live in area but grew up in the south side of Chicago. I used to make the hour drive for authentic tacos. I discovered El Mezcal from Orland Park first and was ecstatic to find out they opened a second location further south. As a 1st generation Mexican-American, I can say the food is definitely delicious and worth every penny!
