Long wait, but worth it. I first heard of the restaurant on Local Flavor. Since I travel through Quarryville on my way home from the golf course I play and a rail trail I walk I bought a few certificates and stopped by and order empanadas to eat at home. Extremely flavorful!! Next day (Taco Tuesday) ordered food to take to family. BAD NEWS: order took nearly an hour to prepare. GOOD NEWS: extremely good tacos and a VERY generous portion of guacamole. Plan to take some friends for taco Tuesdays in future. They serve the rice milk and hibiscus drink—-very authentic and very good!!! BEWARE: they have 4 different types of tacos that are discounted (only $1.50) on Tuesday. The others (fish, shrimp, etc) are NOT discounted and a much pricier. Look forward to dining in restaurant OR on their patio.

I ordered takeout online, and probably should have downloaded the Slice App so I could get order updates. I arrived when my order should have been done, but it was actually done about 40 minutes after that. I did happen to order on an incredibly busy day, so I understand the wait. Staff was very kind about it, and I just went and did my grocery shopping during most of my wait.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the small town of Quarryville. The food is absolutely amazing!! The Mexican/puerto rican authentic food is cooked with expertise!! The atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect for a date night,( in a back corner booth) or even a family/friend gathering. The rice and beans are to die for!!! And the pastelles are the BEST item on the menu!! It’s hard to find a good pastelle at ANY restaurant. I found the perfect one, and it’s at this restaurant!! I will be eating here every chance I get!!

El Milagro was very good! I would highly recommend this hidden gem. It has a parking lot in the back and a cute outdoor patio, but we ate inside. The restaurant was perfectly cool on a warm evening. It is also a bakery with croissants as big as our face! We were served chips and salsa after being sat in a big booth, we had a chicken quesadilla, beef and shrimp empanada, the beef was our favorite, definitely get the guacamole It was very fresh and super yummy & a crunchy chicken tostada. We had leftovers for another meal. Our server was super friendly. We will absolutely go back!
