I wanted to give them a good review so bad but, They lacked authenticity and taste while presenting it well. If I could give them 3 and a half I would… While everything was beautifully plated and the setting was really nice, the food was bland and could really use seasoning. Best part of the whole meal was the fried rice which had the appearance of a Chinese fried rice but

First time trying this after driving past a few times. We really enjoyed it. Although service was slow, they were apologetic and the outdoor atmosphere made it not seem like a long wait for the food. We brought our own alcohol so that also helped pass time. Good food also!

This place opened about four months ago and tonight we finally stopped in and I couldn’t be more happy that we did! The service was top notch. The complimentary house-made chips and salsa were fresh and fantastic but the guac stole the show! We will definitely be coming here again and ordering from DoorDash!!! Hidden gem for sure

Food was completely average, and that’s trying to be positive. (A better choice is Chili’s, if that’s your thing) Prices are really high for what you get, and I wouldn’t say portions are particularly large. Almost everything on the menu is $25. And they were skimpy on ingredients like seafood and beef. This is the most expensive mediocre Mexican food I’ve ever had. We wanted to try something new, but left this place disappointed, and won’t go back. The location leaves a lot to be desired as well. It’s definitely not as nice as the pictures look.

We had an unsettling experience at El Molcajete. It is BYOB and if you bring your Tequilla, they will make a margarita of your choice upon request. However, they keep your alcohol behind their bar as opposed to leaving it on the table to control BYOB consumption. We brought an expensive bottle of tequila, and each had 2 margaritas each. Arguably each margarita had little to no alcohol included. The server goes, “Just wanted to let you know there is not much alcohol left in your bottle if you wanted to split 1 more.” There is ZERO chance a middle-aged couple split a whole bottle of tequila within 4 weak margaritas. Upon leaving the restaurant after dinner, we asked for our bottle back as if the servicer “forgot” to give it back. We STRONGLY suspect the wait staff drank our expensive tequila. This is unfortunate because the food was good and the aesthetic was authentic, but the BYOB operation was very, very shady. We don’t plan on going back for that reason. If you do go, I strongly suggest requesting for your bottle to stay on the table. Be careful!!!!

First time at this cute little Mexican restaurant. Road parking right outside, we took an outdoor table. Our waiter Tony was attentive and polite. Food was delicious and plentiful. Only downer was the road noise but it was rush hour. Next time we’ll leave it a little later but definitely a next time.

We did take out so we didn’t get the in restaurant experience. The food was delicious and the pickup experience was quick with friendly servers/hosts. We will definitely eat in next time!
