Just noticed this place last week and couldn’t wait to try. I will start with the negative. The prices are fairly high and they don’t serve alcohol. I can live with the prices though couldn’t afford to come very frequently. The no alcohol seemed a little strange but it is NM so who knows why they don’t have a liquor license, may just be they aren’t willing to pay off the right political wheels. With that being said the food was delicious. I won’t compare it to other locales as that is not fair, the food was extremely tasty and if I wanted to go somewhere else I would have. We had a seafood tower which was awesome but about $30 and my son had the seafood tacos which were about $15 and a were really, really good! The staff was all very attentive and friendly and weren’t the “that’s not my table” type, they all chipped in to make sure the customers were taken care of. I really enjoyed the trip and am glad I went.

We went for the weekend breakfast buffet. It was delicious l. They had a good variety of traditional Mexican desayuno and united states breakfast. The service was great! Our server was so nice and attentive. The restaurant was nicely decorated, creating a festive atmosphere. It is a good place to bring family and celebrate any occasion! This was my first time here and I will definitely be coming back to try their lunch and dinner!

Way to over priced service was horrible food I would give a -1 out of 10 WARNING DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY TOTAL WASTE AND FOOD WAS NASTY. I don’t mind spending $30 dollars a plate when it is good food and good service. We spent over $90 for two adults and a children’s meal not even my son ate the chicken nuggets. I got the fajitas i asked the waitress what was in it she said shrimp,beef and chicken but than it cane with octopus,chicken,beef,and shrimp taste was nasty we just wanted to get out of there quick the we should have not even paid honesty i think the good is Microwaved the food came out in less than 10 mins This place is a huge disappointment.

We stopped in for takeout and i got the best coctel de camarones and mango agua fresca ive had since I lived in San Diego. I spilled my drink on their patio and they refused to charge me for a replacement. I will definitely return next time I’m in Albuquerque.

El Molcajeton was certainly unique and not like any food I’ve tried before in Albuquerque. Looking at the other reviews, we had the opposite service experience as our waiter and host were very helpful. We weren’t sure what a Molcajete was but our waiter helped us out and made sure we understood what we were ordering. As for the food, tacos were great. The Molcajete were good and you should definitely order one per two people. Flavors were good, the Molcajete Frio Del Mar was a little too sour with the lime but good. The shrimp was raw which was fine but I didn’t really know it was like a cocktail Molcajete beforehand. Overall, good stuff!

We went there to celebrate and we could not hear each other speak over the women that we’re signing. The food was not good. They put lime and chile on everything. That should be up to the customer. Not everyone can eat chile or lime. It’s super expensive for what it is. We would of been better off at Red Lobster for the price we paid. We won’t be going back or recommending this place. Plus they want you to listen to these women sign and not have a conversation.
