COLOMBIA (via Eat the World Los Angeles) – If your fellow breakfast diners are not enjoying dishes with eggs, they will probably have a tamal tolimense ($8.25) in front of them. This style of tamal is from the high altitude Andean department of Tolima, but has become popular throughout the country and in expat communities abroad. It packs a high calorie punch for breakfast, usually the heartiest meal in Colombia.

Top 2 Colombian places in Los Angeles recommend the Lengua and fresh off the oven pandebono and buñuelos. Friendly service from waitress Angelica.

Prices are reasonable, lots of parking. Their empanadas were okay. Between two dishes I was going to get they were not available. Seating is very limited as the place is small.

More that a decade as a client. I love the service, the people, the food. Caro and Mario are really nice and humble. The stuff really nice, the price really fair. Between all the Colombian restaurant that I have visit, the SAZON, the test is always really good and one of the best to treat the clients ,the other ones must the time one of the stuff offer a bad answer, confront the client, or think that as owners they treat the people as they want. El Molinito, never, never I had seen a customer mad or disappointed or being rude. I really like and support this restaurant as a good representation of Colombia.

It’s been a while since I visited my favorite Colombian restaurant. hell, with the Colombia crowd and traditional Colombian theme I always feel like I’m really in Colombia. I usually get la bandeja but today I got the mojarra asada, Hands up to the chef for the way the cut the fish never seen it like that and made it easy to eat.
