The Al Pastor is really good at this restaurant, and it’s cooked on a spit. They do not offer grilled onions, which my family loves to eat on our Tacos Al Pastor.

El Morelense is the perfect addition to the South Jordan Taquerias in an area that just doesn’t have the authenticity we need! Solid 4.5/5 Stars. It is all very fresh, great cuts of pork off the trompo, and good tortillas. This estilo of pastor is more on the savory side and letting the pork shine instead of the long marinated, deep-red and a little sweeter style.

Customer service, clean and the Al pastor were just amazing. I had cabeza and asada and cabeza lack salt and it was hard just putting salt from the table it didn’t take it in and the asada tasted a lot like pepper, no a fan personally but it wasn’t bad at all.

Brand new Mexican joint, pretty yummy options and I’m definitely coming back to try some new stuff. I got the Al Pastor Alambre… make sure to ask for your tortillas on the side, makes it way easier to eat and they don’t get all soggy. The Horchata was not great, but they let me replace it with soda, so I was happy. I would recommend and I’m coming back!

Best Mexican food in Draper hands down! The meat was flavorful and tender, the restaurant was clean and well maintained, and the menu had a great variety. They added a little grilled pineapple to my tacos Al pastor that was a nice touch. My BF order the Torta which was HUGE and full of flavor. Will be dining here a lot more!

Tacos Al pastor are a favorite of mine and something I cannot get enough of, the smell and sight of a traditional “trompo” of al pastor meat outside of Mexico City is very rare. The flavor and crispy texture do not disappoint, they have the most delightfully spicy salsas you can tell they are made in house. This location has some new additions to the menu like the fries and burritos and does not have all of the meat flavors they carry at the redwood location, but you can’t go wrong with nearly anything on the menu. (I just wish they had huaraches at this location) the people at both locations have always been amazing and it’s probably because the owners are so sweet and friendly themselves! I love El Morelense!

Restaurant was clean and staff was very friendly. The tacos were the prefect size and full of flavor. Salsa bar has a good variety of salsas and toppings. Definitely recommend the pastor and suadero campechano tacos!

I am so excited this location opened, we will be frequenting here regularly. We have been going to the one in West Valley for years because it’s hands down the best tacos, especially the Al Pastor. Mind you, the other stuff is delicious too. When my husband saw this location opened and so close to us we couldn’t believe it. The only thing missing is the huaraches! The tacos are just as fantastic so please keep them the same. Thank you!! You have customers for life at both locations.
