This might be my new go to Mexican food restaurant I’m the area. We have plenty of Mexican restaurants in the area, but I find this one to be the best. The service was good, we were greeted with a smile and showed to our table. Our waitress came out and got our drink order shortly after we were seated. Our margaritas were delivered to our table in a very timely manner and were great! The food was out soon there after and was fantastic! I recommend sitting on the patio during nice weather. The mole enchiladas are my favorite thing that I have tried so far, they are full of great flavor and are a fairly generous size.

Food was amazing! Freshly made tortillas…salsa and chips and margaritas are huge! Was so happy with my meal but sad I left my to go box on the table. Was so pleased they had fried ice cream too! Yummy

I’m not sure what these other reviews are about but I was there tonight on 8/8/2023 and it was a chaotic nightmare. Long periods between anybody even saying anything to you tables coming up to the bar saying they didn’t get their food. The margaritas and food that I had were good. But much like it’s predecessor Angus Burger their service is terrible. A server walked out shift because he couldn’t put up with this anymore. Bring your patience.

Fast service, the servers were really good with kids. Super friendly and attentive staff. Good prices, El Vallarta has some serious west Omaha competition now. Shout out to Chato. Great server. Definitely will be back!

We went here on July 14…my birthday, between 5 and 6 p.m. It was LOUD and chaotic, at best. The man who took our order couldn’t understand us—and we couldn’t understand him. He was obviously spending all of his time waiting on the tables that ordered alcohol (we didn’t). My husband liked his shrimp tacos, but the ground beef enchiladas that I ordered tasted like how canned dog and cat food smells. The more I ate it, the more I believed they really had used pet food to widen their profit margin. It was so, so bad! After the food was brought to our table, there was no two-bite check (“how is your food?”) In fact, no one EVER came to our table to refill our drinks or offer us dessert. We waited and waited for the check that never came. I wanted to leave, but my husband insisted on stopping at the desk by the door—which was also a chaotic mess. There was no apology and no offer to comp my meal. Worst service we’ve ever had—and worst enchiladas I’ve ever had! It ruined my birthday.

First time eating here and will certainly be coming back. Great service and atmosphere. Ordered the shrimp tacos, so delicious and flavorful. My husband also enjoyed his fajita bowl. Highly recommend. All staff was very nice and welcoming. Special thanks to Chato, our waiter.

3 different to-go orders over the span of 3 weeks. They forgot part of the order every single time. The person who rings it up even does this pretend inventory of the order, which is really just telling what you are getting charged for on the receipt. Do your own check of the bag before you leave the parking lot.
