Best Mexican food in Connecticut in my opinion! I love the customer service and the woman who greets me always has a welcoming smile on her face which makes me want to come back. I ordered the ground beef, el pastor, and steak tacos for lunch which exceeded my expectations in flavor! I was so happy. They also have really good birria tacos too! Food is very fresh and it’s plenty of seating!

This restaurant is a gem! ¡Que riquísimo la comida! The service was so personable and the food was absolutely authentic and delicious! Our whole family loved the experience. There was a giant blow up cactus man at the front of the restaurant and the kids loved that. The jamaica juice was so refreshing and the burritos were huge and so packed full of goodness! The carne asada was so filling and protien packed. The corn tortillas were definitely homemade and sooo good The children really enjoyed the quesadillas and pupusas! Then she gave us this delicious fruit dessert at the end in a big cup and the kids fought over it because it was sooo good! Absolutely yummy and delicious experience! Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stopped in on our way through Hartford and couldn’t be happier with our experience at El Nopal. Fresh, homemade food and great hospitality by our server, Alba. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in the area. Do your tastebuds a favor and give El Nopal a visit!

I have recently heard about this spot but never tried it at first, after a few days i gave it a try and boy, they food is incredible! They ask you how you want your meat(steak) cooked, i like it well done! The rice is good and the beans, oof, the best. I highly recommend this spot if looking for Spanish food, oh, and dont forget your horchata, best natural water drink they offer!
