I come to this restaurant because I love the variety of options in delicious plates. The price is more than fair and including that the serving portions are big. You can order a plate and might not finish it all because they serve well sized plates. Of course you have the traditional Mexican food options and draft beers to your liking.

We stopped here on the spur of the moment kind of thing around dinner time. We where seated right away. Gave us time to look over the menu without hovering, but also didn’t make us wait forever and a day to take our order. We didn’t wait long for our food. The food is delicious and I can’t wait to return. There where 4 of us and it was about $80 for the 4 of us. Completely worth it. Definitely a must try.

Food was plentiful, delicious, and not expensive. The restaurant was very busy, the wait for food wasn’t too bad, but all the meals should have been served at the same time, not staggered, some better coordination needed. The server was polite, courteous. The restaurant was clean, but could have more Mexican Festive atmosphere.

The food is amazing and the service is as well. I placed a delivery order and was told to give them 40 min., the food got here in less then 20 min. Our delivery guy ,Juan Carlos, was very kind, courteous and professional. Thank you Juan Carlos and El Mexicali 2 for your amazing work and food. Food is ok, nothing really good. Mostly over cooked, service is extremely slow. I feel it’s over priced for what you get. Beans are not fully cooked, rice is always dry. When you ask a question the staff will look at you like you’re crazy.

Waitress was kind of unattentive, that may be a result of short staffing, but the atmosphere was great, roses are blooming in the parking lot, everything was easy… Got a table right away and the food came fast. As always the chips and salsa were fresh and I enjoyed the time out with my family.
