Called in a 16 person order for pick up- they made sure everything was labeled appropriately! Portion sizes were excellent and food was hot. Highly recommend ordering and eating on the beach.

I ordered nachos and the slices of avocado were black and smelled disgusting. I called the restaurant to let them know that they sent rotten avocados and the woman I spoke to was rude and nasty. I told her that I wanted to let them know about the avocados so that they could check them before they gave them to their clients. The woman started mocking me for calling to report the issue. A family member opened their order and the yellow rice smelled and tasted sour. We will never order from there again.

I’ve gone here many times, however my last time I ordered asado chimichungas… One of my chimichungas had a extremely long hair embedded in it. Extremely gross and I lost my appetite. I’m scared to eat anything else from here. My friends that ordered meals were extremely grossed out and didn’t even finish their food. The waitress tried to say that she would only discount my meal. We left 5 bucks and walked out. I’m disappointed and disgusted with their customer service and they had the audacity to tell us we had to pay. Pass this place up everyone their ridiculous.

I don’t live in the area but anytime I am in the area I stop in for dinner or get takeout. The restaurant is a small mom & pop type of establishment. I am not fussy about waiting or service. I just want good tasting food. Prices are reasonable. What I also like is that on my visits I see small families eat here & mostly Mexican/Latino people which tells me the food must be good because they are more familiar with the cuisine than I am. I LOVE their chicken soup and always get a large container to go. I usually get chicken enchiladas. This past visit I got Tinga which is stewed chicken & potatoes, rice & beans = delicious. If I lived anywhere closer, I would definately be getting takeout very frequently. My experiences have always been good,

Had a nice dinner with an old friend!! Cozy little place. The Huartes were good. The only problem was that there were little nat flies bothering us the whole time.

One of my favorite places!! My tacos were sooo good!! They have the best salsa verde!! Even my extremely critical father loves their salsa verde! My daughter went back the next day for more tamales and tacos!

I eat here every night whenever I am working in Long Branch. The food is pretty good, and it is consistent. Fajitas are good. The tacos are good, and the quesadillas are quite good. The only drawback is the salsa could be hotter. The proprietors are good, and gracious hosts. I first went because it was always very busy, which is a good way to judge unknown restaurants, but this year, for the first time in ten years, it was less busy. Has this country’s hostile policies driven away the immigrant community ? I hope not. The taquerias of Long Branch are the best affordable food twenty miles.
