One Hungry Possum
Ceviche on a raw oyster sitting on top of my Modelo michelada?!!! Rimmed with shrimp?! Absolute HEAVEN. This place has such a fun, extensive menu that I look forward to every time I visit. AMAZING quesabarilla tacos that are not dripping in oil- they are perfect, and the broth is bomb too. Tuesdays is $1.33 tacos and they have live music which is Saturday night level amazing. I know Thursdays are ladies night with 1.99 margaritas and Saturdays are hopping with entertaining karaoke. This place will not disappoint.

This place has made several improvements. They have live music on Friday’s and sometimes Saturday’s. A full bar, and an updated, upgraded menu. We ordered 1/2 dozen oysters with ceviche and let me tell you I was surprised! They were the best oysters I’ve ever had! They were huge, fresh and delicious! We will definitely return to try some of their many other new options.

My first time here and wow! The salsa is the best my husband and I’ve tried from a Mexican restaurant. It had a good kick to it! The service was amazing. They didn’t have the dip I really wanted but went out of their way to make it for me. The chorizo queso was fantastic! Everything had a kick to it so beware! Overall great experience.

I didn’t care for the enchiladas. The red sauce wasn’t good at all and didn’t even cover the corn tortillas. The meat was burned and tasted old like they recooked it. No seasoning at all. The beans were ok the rice has no taste. The chips and salsa were on point.

My pina colada tasted like it was mostly foam with little taste. I didn’t mention it since the waiter was so busy. It didn’t have much liquor in it. The cheese dip was delicious, and he kept the chips coming. The others with me felt their food didn’t have much flavor to some of their food like the burrito. One person had ordered refried beans as the only side, but received rice. He did offer to bring the refried beans separately.
