Absolutely delicious and excellent service. Try the ‘wet tacos’, it’s not on the menu anymore but you can order it. Been here three times already. The best Mexican food in Arrowhead. Try their sister site Blue Jay Burger as well.

I base my decision on weather or not there are good chips and salsa. They were both perfect! I loved the slight heat of the salsa. The workers spoke Spanish and there were other Spanish speaking people eating in the restaurant. Another positive sign of it’s authenticity. My friend had a chicken enchilada lunch plate and loved it! I tried something new to me, Huarache. It was wonderful!!!

Restaurant recently opened and we have eaten here 5 times. So far food has been great. Chips are fresh and salsa tasty. We always order the sizzling trio fajitas – usually awesome but today a little dry but still very tasty. Best menudo on the mountain. Service is great. Some workers are new but they are friendly, and really try to be attentive to customers. If they keep up the great food and services, this restaurant will be the best Mexican restaurant on the mountain. Definitely recommend

The four of us enjoyed a wonderful meal together. The service was excellent and the food was terrific! Prices were fair and portions plentiful. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in Lake Arrowhead. Thank you El Pajaro Azul!

First time here. Charred and Overcooked fajitas were flavorless bitter and inedible. Tortillas were microwaved. There were Ants in the soda. Fish tacos were not fresh and not visually appealing. Beans had a funny/weird after taste. Rice was not good. Beef stew was full of fat and probably on its last day before getting tossed out. Service was poor, Waitress seemed to have a bad attitude not sure why but we all have bad days I guess. Chips and Salsa was good. Pastor taco was okay. That’s the only positive thing I can say. I still left a tip knowing that I will definitely not be back. Good news is there is 79 other mediocre Mexican restaurants on the mountain.

I’ve both dined in and taken out. The food is great! Always enjoyed every meal. They have the best salsa. They also have great Breakfast, enjoy Sunday breakfast there often as well.
