They are very short staffed. The same person that took our order, cooked our food. Even with only 6 tables, it took over an hour to get our food. The free Saturday nachos arrived as we were leaving. Food was OK, but not worth the wait.

I had a combo plate with 2 Chile Rellenos, and I asked for less rice and more beans– and they did exactly that! Thank you! My husband ordered a fish dish and it was also wonderful. We will be back. We often stay at the nearby Old Marina Inn and this restaurant is an easy walk, don’t need to repark the car.

Working here from out of the area. I ordered the Carne De Asada plate and Ceviche Tostada ala carte. I was pleasantly surprised with the fresh quality, portions and value. It reminded me of my favorite Mexican food restaurant at home. The lady behind the counter was very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone. Really good food. Enough to make a guy who doesn’t normally write reviews to make time to write one. Great job El Palmar!
