Easy casual Mexican diner serving up a pretty good breakfast. I had a chorizo & egg plate and potato and egg taco which really hit the spot – especially for the price. My only complaint was that the flour tortillas weren’t as light and fluffy as I like them.

This place is pretty chill and low key. They have specials every day at a great price, which includes a tea or drink and that’s just amazing! They are generous with their guacamole. Service was great. I had a good time here. The food is your typical Mexican food.

As most of the times happened I’ve been recommended by a coworker, since they used to be at the other location, and since 2010 I go there see Veronica (Vero) and ask for my favorite food is pork chop plate or tacos, the meat has a unique flavor, (pork chops are my favorites)

El Palmar is solid breakfast joint serving Tex-Mex breakfast with some traditional or American breakfast items. The prices are great and the amount of food is plentiful. The staff is very friendly and the coffee is always hot! Today, I had my usual Chilaquiles a la Mexicana with a side Barbacoa taco. Two flour tortillas were included with the plate. Five of us had breakfast plates and the total was around $45. Hope this review helps.
