I cannot say enough good things about El Papas and everyone who works there. My father passed away unexpectedly at the beginning of May and this restaurant was located across the street from the funeral home we used, so when we were making the arrangements for the service we decided to check out the restaurant as a possible reception venue since it would be very convenient for our guests.

After we had a bad experience with a close bye restaurant. We decided to stop in and try this place out. Wow. It was fantastic! We were the only people there. The food was delicious.But that’s not the best part.The people are so friendly.We had such a good conversation.We swapped numbers and she invited us back on Saturday. Live music, karaoke. Dancing. I can’t wait to go back.Thank you very much for the excellent service and kind words. DO NOT EAT AT TAMALES GUADALAJARA! Bad service. Come here instead. You will love it. See you Saturday

El Papas is a mile away from our home, we saw it passing by and thought we’d give it a try. And let me say it was WORTH IT!! Our waitress was so sweet that by end of the meal I wanted to hug her lol! We got the menudo, enchiladas, and carne asada fries. You know you’re at a good Mexican restaurant when the chips and salsa are delicious just by themselves. The menudo was delicious and even had pata! The enchiladas came with rice and beans and the carne asada fries were a huge portion. We definitely will be coming back here and are so happy we found this place!

The new business El Papa’s just opened. My family and I stopped by for food and drink. There’s karaoke on Saturday nights and a dance floor with lights too. The food was good just took a little while for it to be served. The carne asada burrito is delicious. Very nice and welcoming place.
