Came looking for good Latin food for dinner, however the food was just mediocre. The chicken in red sauce was bland and discolored. Oxtails were not worth the price of $20. I received one big round and 5 little ones and a lot of sauce. The meat was tough and tasted old. Staff was friendly tho.

We ordered tostones,a steak sandwich, and a hot dog. Price was very cheap(reason for the average rating) and food tasted pretty decent. Nice variety of food. Staff was attentive and nice. However, I was looking at one of the tostones we got and it seemed as if it had hairs in it. We told the manager and he said “it’s only one hair ma’am “…. then after looking at it under the light he agreed to switch them for us and apologized. Also, I ordered my sandwich without any mustard but since it was take out I noticed when I got home they had added it.

We have been buying food for both Thanksgiving and Christmas from this place for the past 5 years. Up until recently, the food quality was excellent. However, the ownership of this establishment changed and the food quality has been abysmal. We ordered some pork for Thanksgiving and it all had to be thrown away. The pork had an awful smell to it. But we figured that they may have had an off day. For Christmas Eve dinner, we purchased the sliced pork for 30 people and it was awful. The pork actually smelled rotten. Everyone that ate it got sick and threw up. I am already disputing with my credit card company. Awful experience and clearly the change in ownership has been for the worse. A shame because this establishment has always been run exceptionally and with some great tasting food.

I went to El Parador to get food for my friend’s family. They have a good selection of different Cuban food, including sides dishes and desserts, and the prices were great! Additionally my friends said the food tasted great! I will definitely go back there.
