There is a nice variety to choose from. The chips and homemade salsa were delicious. Crisp fresh and warm chips. I had the Goat Birria Tacos and ordered a side of charro beans. The beans were delicious, I felt the goat Birria needed to be spicier and could have been more flavorful but was alright. It didn’t come with a red dipping consomme’which is for dipping them in. Usually they come already put together and deep fried but they came with flour or corn tortillas on the side kind of like fajitas. The goat meat was very tender and perfect tho it just wasn’t spicy at all. If you don’t like them spicy then that’s what to order My husband had the chicken chimichanga. He said his was bland as well but very tender and the meat was nice and juicy. The portions are good sized. Overall we liked everything alright but we really like a lot of spice and flavor when we have Mexican food. The staff was very nice and attentive. We loved our waitress Marianna, she took great care of us. We will try it again tho. This is just our opinion according to our personal taste so take it with a grain of salt. You should try it for yourself. It was a nice establishment with great staff.

El Paso Mexican Bar and Grill may be over looked because of its location. It is tucked away in the labyrinth of trinket shops, clothing stores, bodegas and restaurants that collectively occupy the business village, known as “The Farm.” It is hidden from view. No distinct signage visible from 51st St. or Sheridan, disclose its location.

I think its a pretty solid restaurant! The place seemed clean and attractively designed. The White and Black with pops of color worked!

This place is a hidden gem. The dipping sauce for the birra tacos isn’t traditional consume…it’s WAY better. Perfect amount of spice. The chips and salsa are also amazing. Very reasonably priced for the quality and amount of food. Will be going back.

You wanna be charged for every little thing, come here. Food is alright. The meat itself had ZERO taste also. The Birria tacos weren’t even the right kind at all.

We’ve been going to El Paso for the past three years more frequently this past year sometimes twice a week. The last two times that we’ve gone there we’ve had the same server. She’s absolutely horrible. She spends more timer on her phone than she does with her guests. we constantly run out of drinks and she actually came to the table tonight talking on her phone. This is the last time that will go to this restaurant because of her and it’s sad because the food is absolutely fantastic.

Food was very good. Mole chicken had good taste and very generous portion. Chips were hot and salsa was flavorful and just the right amount of heat. The live music was a fun surprise. The patio looks really nice and I look forward to eating out there next time. I’m always on the hunt for good Mexican food in town and I would certainly recommend El Paso as a nice new affordable option and one I’ll return to.

Very kind and attentive staff. Food was terrific Tex-Mex fare. Had the shrimp chimichanga and it was delicious. And it does not put a big dent in the wallet, which is always nice! Two thumbs up.
