I’m from Cali and when I moved to the East Coast 20yrs ago, I could not find one place that made real authentic Mexican tamales that I was used to eating. We happened to pass through OKC area and found this small spot. I finally had the tamales that I have been searching for! We had the pork and chicken & it was perfect! The taste was just like the ones in Cali! If we had something to put it in we would have bought a dozen of these!

A FAVORITE SPOT! We’ve bought here for years and probably the BEST tamales we’ve had anywhere! Always hot! Always fresh! Select spicy or mild. Today we ordered half chicken and half pork and went to Hefner park to enjoy them. These are a favorite of family and friends and we Highly Recommend them! Nicest staff and owners! This is a DO NOT MISS PLACE TO ENJOY!

Hole-in-the-walls are sometime the place to find good food, just like Tamales El Patio. At least when it comes to the tamales we picked up, they were fresh tasting and generous in portion. We especially enjoy the cheese tamales.

Ordered 5 dozen and they had them ready to go on time. The pork flavors are delicious and the chicken option was moist and high in heat! I almost couldn’t eat the chicken ones because they were sooo spicy. Some sour cream helped tone it down. Overall this place was delicious. We will be getting our tamales from this place from now on. Didn’t try the cheese and jalapeno option but will try those next time.

Not impressed. This batch seemed to have less filling and the flavors of the fillings has changed to barely palatable. I ordered cheese and chicken. There were 4 dozen. The masa was ok. I used to like these tamales. I will go elsewhere from now on.
