Passing through the area and my son and I were craving Mexican food. Decided to stop in and give El Patio a try! We were pleasantly surprised! The chips and salsa were very good. The iced tea was good. The service was fast and the food tasted delicious!

The restaurant is full of colors, the service was great, Karina is an amazing server (maybe she needs to relax a little bit, this job it’s not easy, so it’s going to be great for her to save a little bit energy) She payed attention all time.

It was very busy when I arrived on a Fri night for dinner, but I was seated right away. Their menu is very large. Food arrived quickly after I ordered. They have a happy hour special every day after 5pm, which includes BOGO margaritas.

The menu had to many choices for me, so I just asked for chicken quesadillas, rice and beans. What a surprise I got. One huge quesadilla! Nothing like the Mexican restaurants in Houston. The meal was great. The place had pretty cool furniture. The restroom mirror was humongous.

Good was delicious I had the carne asada tacos no pico the added cilantro and onion. If you like a more authentic style taco that’s where it’s at the beans we’re seasoned well and the rice was good. We had their queso it was good , mix some of their salsa in and you made goodness . Our waiter was great and friendly ❤️

I ordered 2 quesidillas with fresh onion and cilantro. They added cooked onions and had the quesidillas laying in the sour cream and wet tomatoes. They were a wet soggy mess!! They don’t ever have to worry about me spending my money there again. The worst!! I hope I’m able to post pics.

Really good! Our waiter was great! Other staff pleasant. Had Chef Special, Chile Relleno Gordo (beef w/queso), my favorite. Other dish ordered, Carne Asada under steak. Hadn’t been in awhile & well worth it & be hungry. Plates are huge & pretty colors. Sopapillas for dessert.
