This cozy restaurant is a hidden gem that serves homestyle Mexican food. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with warm smiles and friendly service from the staff, who are all family members. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, making it the perfect spot for a weekend breakfast or lunch with family and friends.

El Patron in Rancho Cucamonga is my absolute favorite place for Menudo on a cold weekend. I’ll drive here on a rainy day to pick some up from here to enjoy at home. Also, the chorizo mixed in potatoes and eggs is also delicious. I love the chips and salsa, which has a nice kick to it. The restaurant is in an interesting location in the middle of an industrial area, but definitely a place worth the visit.

Was across the street delivering to Coke and overheard a employee mention this place. I walked over and got a wet chicken burrito. It was delicious! I was greeted as soon as I walked in and felt very welcomed. I’ll definitely be back when in the area

Great place to eat great Mexican food. We had the chilaquiles for breakfast, and tasted like back home. Highly recommend it.

Wether you have their green chilaquiles at the restaurant or to go, they are just as delicious. That green sauce is just everything and it’s never tasted different from all the years I’ve had them here. The fried corn tortilla strips are perfectly drenched in green salsa that is tart, tangy and zesty and I love how they are so crunchy and not soggy. The chilaquiles are topped with queso fresco and I accompanied mine with beans and potatoes the perfect breakfast after a night out. ::wink, wink:: I opted out of eggs but my husband had his chilaquiles with red sauce (spicier), eggs over easy, carne asada, beans and potatoes, as well. We love the variations you can have. The papas are sautéed with onions, very finely chopped green bell peppers and seasoned with the perfect amount of salt. Their smashed beans taste like they are made from scratch and not canned. We absolutely love the chilaquiles here, you must try!

I had green chiliquitas.. they were good. My husband wasn’t a fan of the huevos ranchero. They kinda went skimpy with the meat.

I came in to try this place for the first time since I work up the street. I walked up and asked to order and was told I had to sit down and wait to have my order taken. Then someone came in and was able to order before me since he was taking his to-go. Realized this is not authentic while trying to order a burrito. Decided to get a taco and taquito since I didn’t have time to find another place. The gal taking order and bringing food to the table was less than friendly and just short of rude. Not helpful for sure. The guacamole was pathetic and the chicken inside the tequitos was disgusting. The beef taco was ok. The chicken was so bland that it was worse than store bought frozen ones. I will never be back and it’s too bad because I love finding places close to work and home and go to them all the time when they are good.

This is not authentic mexican food. Carne asada tasted very bad had to excuse my self to spit it out. Huevos on chilaquiles were over cooked. Meat on menudo was also over cooked. Botttle water was ok. You should sample what you are serving to your customers. People were friendly
