Stopped in for a late lunch, wife and I both ordered Pollo con Arroz, Rice covered with Chicken. Ingredients included onions peppers and mushrooms . So delicious, and the portions were huge, we brought a second meal home in a box.

I ordered a fajita taco salad and when I started eating grease rolled out of the shell and covered my plate. When I pointed this out was informed they had been busy, didn’t have time to clean grease off grill, and it was just scooped up and put in my taco salad. There was no offer to redo my order or compensate me. I could not eat my meal due to excessive amount of grease!

Wow. worst shrimp I have ever had. Ordered Shrimp and Veggies and the shrimp was so over cooked it tasted like dried out chicken. No moisture whatsoever. Simply awful. Ordered for carry out on my lunch break. Picked up when it was ready and the shrimp had to have been pre-cooked and reheated. I hope this was a one-time thing, as this was my first experience with El Patron. Highly doubt I’ll come back.

Not in the best location and atmosphere. Service was not the best but it’s understandable considering how busy they are. However, the food was what you paid for. The portion sizes were huge and knocked my boyfriend and I into a food coma. The white queso was honestly the best part.

Ordered my food to go! Ordered a taco salad. Instead of placing the taco salad fixings ( sourcream, Guacamole, etc) in separate small containers; But time I got home my sad was soggy. I called to let them know and make a suggestion that they put the fixings in smaller containers. I was told next time I need to specify. That’s the way I want it. The lady that I spoken to had a nasty attitude and I told I would not be returning there.

We usually eat here at least once a week, usually on the weekend. The food is always great, the atmosphere is great, and the service is normally great. We have been on busy days (this is one of the only sit down restaurants in our town) and it’s not been as great as usual, but those are busy days/nights.

Took 20 minutes to get our order taken, brought the wrong food out, corrected it & food was so burnt we took 3 bites. Food is overpriced, watch out for the queso cheese at $4.25 per bowl. I’d give 0 stars if I could. No offer on behalf of management to correct our disappointments.
