In the area on a Friday night, craving (as usual) Mexican food. Was taken by locals to El Patron, which they said was a favorite of theirs. The staff seemed to know them, which was cool. They ordered their usual, which included (see photo) something called a Volcano. Pretty impressive!

Went on a warm Saturday afternoon, ate outside, and enjoyed a nice margarita. The staff is usually plenty friendly, and the foods always hot. If your meal says it comes with black olives, be prepared for alot of olives, still enjoyed it. And the Spanish rice is always perfectly cook.

Server was very nice and helpful. Ordered the Long Island Special drink and sent back because it was all sour mix and coke. Reordered a couple of margaritas..very delicious….food left little to be desired….beans were cold…rice was cold and both were flavorless…entrees were not quite what we ordered. My husband wanted one beef and one chicken burrito with rice and beans on the side…everything was on the inside of burrito….I ordered a sliced steak meal and added mushrooms and onions…steak came out on whole slices…lots of additional liquid on plate and no cheese sauce…needless to say we will not be visiting this location again.

Lovely staff, excellent service! The street tacos are outstanding, just make sure to ask for lime with them. The coleslaw that comes with the chips and salsa is very unique and delicious. The sides were a bit disappointing. Black beans tasted burnt and the corn was dry. Rice is nothing to write home about, but I’m bias to my grandfather’s recipe from Puerto Rico ! Portion sizes are great. Make sure you check out the weekly specials. I’m sure we will be back another day to enjoy a daiquiri.
