local food that is well priced and good. it’s the standard fair of tex-mex, but don’t think it’s average. my family has been multiple times and sampled most items, the rotatating specials help keep things fresh and interesting and if you’re looking for fajitas and margaritas, they got that on lock too.

Very nice place although we did take out. Ordered 1 combo meal w Burritos (1 chicken and 1 beef) and 1 chicken fajitas meal. Food was fresh and well prepared. This is the best Mexican food in the Aiken area.

The best Mexican restaurant in Aiken County. It was clean, the staff friendly and efficient, and the delectable food was served piping hot! The quaint bar, the cheerful colors, and easy parking added to an evening of perfect dining. The Pollo Adobe dish was created with fresh vegetables and the chicken was tender with no gristle or fat. A relief not to battle the noisy traffic of Southside and worth the trip to New Ellenton. Can’t wait to return. Gracias, El Patron!

The best places are always overlooked. So yummy. prices are fair. Staff always takes great care. Nicely stocked bar for a couple tacos and drinks with the hubby. Not too fancy that I would be scared to take my sometimes high energy boys.

Very good dinner! Clean establishment, good drinks, meals were filling. A little different from the regular fast food Mexican cuisine in the Aiken area. Beef was moist and smooth. Flavors were more intense. We were a little reserved about stopping here but super glad we did. Susan said top 10 of the quesadillas she’s had! We will be back!

We had a nice meal. We were seated immediately and enjoyed a Dos XX amber, a personal favorite, and the wife had a white zinfandel, her favorite. The service was speedy and the Fajitas and combo meal were excellent. It makes it to the local restaurant rotation.

Great food and great service. They make you feel welcome and dish out some tasty offerings. The corn tortillas were especially impressive, fluffy…not dry, they must have been homemade. Ditch the flour and have El Patrón serve up some de maíz and savor el sabor.
