I love the type of food they serve. Fresh wraps, salad, and rice bowls for lunch breaks are alwaya appreciated. I got the brussel sprouts as a side and they were very good, the flavor got to be a bit much with the portion size for me but I still finished them off. The only thing I will say didn’t really work for me is that the chicken was cold on the salad. It being rotisserie chicken I was expecting it to be warm, but no biggie if you are expecting it.

I stopped by El Pollo Guapo for a late lunch and ordered “Arroz co Pollo bowl” to go. The food was amazing. Fresh chicken and plantains. Well worth the price of 14 dollars. Definitely get that again.

This place is not what I expected when walking in. I imagined a sit down restaurant but this is order at the counter style and they bring your food to you. I ordered a salad bowl which was delicious with the best blend of flavors. It is served in a plastic to go bowl so if you don’t finish the leftovers you can pack it up right there. Service was very friendly and kept checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. They have a closed off front patio area with seating and plenty of indoor space for seating as well.

A new dining option on Folly Rd offers a little bit of a different take on Mexican food. You order either at the counter or by using an app at your table. The menu is chicken oriented starting with a rotisserie chicken selection and traveling through quesadillas and tacos. There are plenty of choices and they will alter their offerings to match your likes and dislikes. My wife converted a chicken quesadilla to a vegetarian alternative without a hassle. They have draft beers and sell canned beer from their counter side cooler. So this is not fine dining but resembles more a fast food Mexican hybrid. Service was fine and the food was good but the overall dining experience was lacking. For takeout this would be a fine choice but I’m not sure this would be your place for a nice sit down dinner. We give it three clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale.

We loved trying this new rotisserie chicken spot on James Island! We got the “you to” which was an awesome deal of half chicken & 2 sides. The sweet potatoe wedges were absolutely unreal, nothing quite like it on the island. Their sauces are honestly the best in town we enjoyed the siracha aioli.

I’ve been getting food to go here since right after they opened… and I have close friends battling a serious illness of their small child. I started getting food here to take my friend for lunch, and then dinner for the family, a rotisserie chicken and sides. Every single time they have been beyond happy with the food. And I also find it delicious.
